Oppo Digital has unveiled the release date and pricing info of its latest Blu-ray player, the BDP-83. The player features BonusView and BD-Live support, VRS de-interlacing and scaling capabilities, a 7.1-channel analog output, a dedicated stereo output, USB connectivity and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio codecs support. Each purchase of the BDP-83 comes with a backlit remote control. You can purchase the BDP-83 for $599.
