Pentax Optio W80 Rugged Compact Digicam


Pentax will release its rugged point-and-shoot camera next month. Known as the Optio W80, the camera is waterproof up to 16 feet underwater, works in 14 degree weather, and will survive drops from 3.3 feet. Available in Cardinal Red, Azure Blue and Gunmetal Gray, the Pentax Optio W80 will be released in July for $300 each. Pentax also provides a custom designed clear protective skin for $16.95 along with a comfortable floating wrist strap for $19.95.

Holga 120-3D Stereo Camera


The Holga 120-3D stereo camera features two lenses and uses 120mm slide film to take two photos to create 3D images. The camera can also create photos with the film, where each print will have the same image twice, side-by-side. Batteries required if you want to use the built-in flash. The Holga 120-3D stereo camera is priced for $120.

FujiFilm FinePix Z300 Point-and-shoot Camera


FujiFilm will release another Point-and-shoot camera in Japan next week in the form of the FinePix Z300. Available in Pink, White Pearl, Purple and Black, this 10-megapixels camera features a 5.7x optical zoom, a 100 to 1600 ISO speed, a 31MB of internal memory, and a 3-inch touch LCD display. The digicam also supports both SD and SDHC cards. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.

Pentax K20D Titanium Limited Edition


Pentax has released the Pentax K20D Titanium Limited Edition that features a 2.8-inch LCD screen, image stabilization and dust proofing. The original version of the Pentax K20D is available for $700, meanwhile the limited edition Titanium version costs a whopping $1199. The 14.6MP DSLR will be available in Japan at the end of April 2009. Only 1000 units will be available for purchase.
