Jobo’s New Curve Digital Picture Frames

You can now show off your family pictures with Jobo’s latest Curve 7 and Curve 8 digital picture frames. Both frames have full-screen and thumbnail modes and can display the images as a slideshow with a limited set of transitions. The Jobo Curve 7 sports a 7-inch color TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480×234 pixels and Zoom mode. Meanwhile, the Jobo Curve 8 features an 8-inch color TFT LCD display with a higher resolution of 800×600 pixels and 4:3 aspect ratio. The Jobo Curve 7 retails for $82 and the Curve 8 for $124.

Kodak Easyshare Photo Frame With Built-in Rechargeable Battery

The Kodak Easyshare S730 digital photo frame has a built-in rechargeable battery that provides enough juice for up to an hour. The device comes jam packed with an internal memory of 1GB, which is sufficient to store up to 8000 pictures. Other features include a full-screen slideshow, clock or calendar view and “collage mode”, which scrolls through images and randomly selects and shows four images at a time. There are also an additional touch-sensitive control, a motion sensor, USB port and memory card reader. The Kodak Easyshare S730 retails for $230.

Tiny Digital Photo Frame Keychain

If you want to bring your kid pictures wherever you go, then you can use the PHOTTY-GL15-BK portable digital photo frame keychain. Measuring 38mm x 55mm x 10mm, the device has a 1.5-inch (128×128 pixel) LCD display and supports JPEG, BMP, and AVI files. The gadget will be available in Japan in July. No word on pricing at this time.

SilverPac Digital Picture Frame

SilverPac has announced a new digital frame at Computex in Taipei that uses Microsoft Windows Embedded 6.0. The gadget comes with a 10.1 inch display with a 1024 x 576 resolution, Bluetooth, an infrared remote, two speakers, and a rotation sensor, that means you can rotate your frame, and it will sense what direction the pictures are and automatically make the adjustment. Using Wi-Fi connectivity, users are able to download photos to this frame from such programs as Picasa, Photobucket, Facebook, and Windows Live. Pictures can also be put in via USB port, multiformat memory card slot, and micro-USB port. Since it runs Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2, the user can easily set up a slideshow with Windows SideShow and Live FrameIt. No word on pricing or availability at this time.

ViewSonic TrueView Digital Photo Frames Revealed

ViewSonic has added three new digital photo frames to its TrueView line in the form of the 7-inch VFD720, 8-inch VFD820 and 10.4-inch VFD1020. All three photo frames are equipped with a 4:3 aspect ratio, calendar and clock functions, a slideshow feature with various display speeds and transition effects, a 2GB of internal memory, a memory card slot, a USB port and a wireless remote. The main difference is that the 7-inch and 8-inch only come with a 800 x 600 resolution, meanwhile, the 10.4-inch offers a 1,024 x 768 resolution. All three photo frames will be available by the end of next month with prices ranging from $80 to $130.

Jobo Plano 8 Digital Picture Frame

The Jobo Plano 8 digital picture frame has an 8-inch (800 x 600) LCD screen with a 400:1 contrast ratio, a multi-card reader, and a USB port for data transfer. Unfortunately, this gadget only supports JPEG files. The Jobo Plano 8 will be available later in June with an AC adapter, remote control, and manual at an MSRP of $129. The 7- and 10.4-inch models will be available for $99 and $179, respectively.

JOBO’s Ultra-thin NANO Series Picture Frames

JOBO comes back with an ultra-thin NANO 7 digital picture frame. Measuring less than 1-cm thin, the 7-inch picture frame is available in Basic, Pro and Media models. The Pro and Media versions have touch activated buttons on the front that become visible by simply touching the bottom front of the picture frame. Meanwhile, the Media model features multimedia capabilities including viewing digital photos in slide shows or playing music and video.

8.4-inch TFT LCD Digital Picture Frame From Cagic

Known as the Cagic C8-MAHOGANY, the 8.4-inch digital picture frame was crafted from solid wood and brushed metal that reflects a quality of craftsmanship. The digital frame features 800×600 resolution, and a 1GB storage capacity. Priced at $169.99 at Amazon, the Cagic C8-MAHOGANY is perfect for your home of office decoration.

Samsung’s Latest 8 Inch Super Slim Digital Frame

If you want to buy a new digital photo frame, then you can choose the latest super slim digital frame from Samsung. Measuring only 23mm thick, the SPF-87H offers a 8.7 inch LCD display with a 800×480 resolution and 1GB of internal memory.

The digital frame can also act as a PC monitor by connecting to a PC via USB cable. The SPF-87H is currently available in Korea for 145,000 Won ($145).
