FineDigital FineDrive Voice 3.0 Speech Recognition-Enabled Navigation Device


The FineDrive Voice 3.0 is the latest speech recognition-enabled navigation device from FineDigital for the Korean market. This portable device is based on SiRF Prima platform and adopts ETRI’s Fine SRTM 3.0 speech recognition engine, allowing you to control all the functions within the device through speech. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing so far.

Trywin DTN-VX003 Personal Navigation Device


Trywin has released the DTN-VX003 Personal Navigation Device in the Japanese market. Weighing 160grams, the gadget comes equipped with a 4.1 touchscreen OLED display (480×272), a 4GB of internal memory, an SD/SDHC slot, a Digital TV 1Seg, and an FM Radio with FM Transmitter. The gadget supports WMV/AVI and ASF video files and MP3 and WMA audio files. People in Japan can buy this PND for 44,800 Yen or around $469.

Nextar Launches 43LT Navigation System


Nextar has launched its 43LT navigation system that provides free live traffic updates with its 3D graphics. The gadget also features a 4.3-inch display with 1.6 million points of interest, an SD memory card slot, text-to-speech functionality, audio and video playback, and the bundled live traffic receiver. You can purchase the Nextar Launches 43LT for around $169.99 MSRP.

EASYCAR UT710 Premium 3D Navigation Device


EASYCAR has showcased its new premium 3D navigation device during World IT Show 2009 in Korea. Dubbed as the UT710, this portable device is equipped with the company’s new 3D electronic map ‘EASYCAR 3D Map’ and features a 7-inch LCD display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 600MHz Dual Core CPU, a SiRF-3 GPS chipset, two SD card slots, a USB host and more. Suggested price is 299,000 KRW for 4GB and 349,000 KRW for 8GB version.

Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT High-End In-Dash Navigation System


The AVIC-Z110BT is the latest high-end in-dash navigation system from Pioneer that enables users to control an iPod, iPhone and Bluetooth enabled phones with voice commands. The system integrates a 7-inch motorized touch panel and features MSN Direct Support, 3D highway signs, brand icons, and supports CD as well as DVD playback. Available in July for a retail price of $1,800.

Garmin Foretrex 401 GPS Navigation Gadget


Garmin has updated its GPS navigation gadget series by releasing the new Foretrex 401. The gadget has a 1.4-inch x 0.9-inch display screen with a 2-axis digital compass, a barometric altimeter, and a USB port to connect to a computer. The Foretrex 401 is about 20% smaller than its predecessor (Foretex 201 and 101). This navigation device requires two AAA batteries that can last up to 24 hours. The Garmin Foretrex 401 will retail for just $250 when it is released later this June 16th.

Magellan RoadMate 1475T


Magellan is famous for its navigation gadgets. One of their latest products is the RoadMate 1475T that is an updated version of the previously released RoadMate 1470. The device features a 4.7-inch WQVGA anti-glare display, six million POIs, spoken street name guidance, highway lane assist, AAA TourBook listings, and QuickSpell feature. Priced at only $299 a pop, the Magellan RoadMate 1475T will come with NAVTEQ maps of the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

TomTom Navigator 7


TomTom has finally released the new NAVIGATOR 7 for Windows Mobile. It is available for purchase to all end-users instead of bundling it with certain HTC phones. You can also download after paying £35 ($56) or get it on a microSD card for £90 ($146).

The iNAVI ES300 also features “ECO Drive” function, DMB support, “LCD Off” function, and a built-in 900mAh battery. The 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB models are priced at 329,000 Won($259), 379,000 Won($298), and 429,000 Won($337), respectively.

Garmin Nuviphone G60 Delayed!


Bad news comes from Garmin, since they will delay the release date of the Garmin Nuviphone G60 GPS smartphone again to Q3 later this year due to some issues with production capability of both Asustek and Garmin. FYI, this Linux-based navigation gadget will retails for around $500. Stay tuned for more updates.
