If you happen to live in Canada, then I have a good news for you, cause pretty soon Sony Ericsson will release the C510a for the Canadian market via Rogers. The phone itself has made its appearance on SE Canada’s official website recently, however, an estimated release date remains unknown at the moment. So here are the specs, in case you missed it: a 2.2-inch TFT scratch-resistant display with 262K colors and 240 x 320 resolution, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus, face detection, geotagging and LED flash, a 100MB of internal memory, a micro M2 card slot, a media player, an FM radio with RDS, an auto-rotation, Google Maps, email, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, access NetFront browser and Bluetooth 2.0. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.

Sony Ericsson MS500 Bluetooth Speaker

The latest gadget from Sony Ericsson comes in the form of a portable speaker. Known as the MS500, the device is available in orange and black or chic white and pink color combination. The MS500 has a durable splash proof shell and a handy strap which can be hooked to a bag or hung from the wrist. The speaker also adopts Bluetooth technology that functions as a remote control to change tracks and control the volume. The Sony Ericsson MS500 Speaker is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled handsets from Sony Ericsson and other brands. It requires two AA batteries that last for approximately 5 hours. No word on pricing so far.

It seems that Sony Ericsson will release this wireless speaker in Canada very soon. Available in black or orange, the Bluetooth speaker is specially designed to be used outdoors. You just need to connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth (10 meter distance max) and then enjoy the music. The speaker needs two AA batteries that last for approximately 5 hours.

Sony Ericsson PXi For Lefties

Bence Bogar must be a leftie because his SE PXi concept is a product specifically created for all lefties tho it’s flexible enough for righties too. Obviously following the current direction of SE’s P series of smart phones, the PXi is powerful while staying somewhat slim and ergonomic. The body is magnesium framing a big 3.3 inch touch screen. The screen rotates automatically ala iPhone and is optimized for both finger and stylus input. The right side of the unit houses a jogdial and a secondary touch screen which adapts to whatever app is currently open. The smart phone also sports not 1 but 2 card slots for all memory horse. Business functions aside, the PXi is equipped with stereo speakers and a Cyber shot class 5 mega pixel camera.

I don’t know much about lefties but if the PXi was created with them in mind, isn’t the jogdial on the wrong side? I’m just saying.
