Samsung SyncMaster 50 Series


Samsung has launched 20-inch SyncMaster P2050G and 23-inch P2350G LCD monitors in South Korea. These LCD screens comes jam packed with a Crystal Rose black bezel, a 50000:1 contrast ratio, a 2ms response time and a Full HD resolution. No info on pricing so far.

Here is a new member of the Samsung Yepp MP3 player series. The Samsung Popcorn Yepp U5 comes with basic pedometer functions or M·B·A(Mountain·Bike·Athletics) and a super contrast black and white display screen. Sadly, pricing info is still unavailable.

Samsung WB100/ WB1000 Digital Camera


Samsung just released the WB1000 digicam in Europe. The camera is also known as the WB100 or TL320 in the US. It features a 24mm ultra wide angle, a 5x optical zoom, and a 3.0 inch AMOLED monitor that consumes less power but produces a higher contrast ratio of 10,000:1, darker black levels, more vibrant colors, and a brighter display that can easily be viewed in direct sunlight.

Samsung’s Latest Low-cost Messaging Phone for AT&T


Let’s take a look at the new Samsung’s budget-friendly messaging phone for AT&T. Priced at just $19.99 on contract after discount, the cell phone features EDGE data, a VGA camera, QWERTY keyboard, and a bright orange shell. Its 800mAH battery provides enough juice for up to 5-hours talk time or up to 10-days standby time.

Samsung Vice Hits Bell Canada


Samsung has announced the availability of its new Vice for the Canadian market via Bell. The 3G cell phone comes with a sliding full QWERTY keyboard with standard number keys that make texting, emailing, and updating your Facebook profile easier. The phone also comes with a 2.2-inch color display, a 2MP digital camera, a built-in GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, an integrated media player, and a microSDHC card slot for expansion. Bell Canada is selling the Samsung Vice at $49.95 with a 3-year contract.

Samsung PC LCDs Get Touch Of Color


Samsung has added three new desktop LCD monitors to their range in the form of the P2070, P2370 and P2370HD. All three LCDs feature Samsung’s Touch of Color design, 50,000:1 contrast ratio and a clear acrylic neck. The main differences are: the P2070 only offers 1600 x 900 screen resolution, meanwhile the P2370 and P2370HD boast 1920 x 1080 screen resolution for viewing HD content. Not to mention, the P2370HD is also equipped with an integrated HDTV tuner. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release dates yet.

Sprint’s Samsung Exclaim M550 Phone


The Samsung Exclaim M550 messaging handset for Sprint is claimed to be the successor to the Samsung Rant. It comes with an alphanumeric and a QWERTY keypad, a 2.6-inch QVGA display, EV-DO Rev. 0 connectivity, social networking applications, GPS navigation, a 2MP shooter, and a microSDHC memory card slot. Sprint will release the Samsung Exclaim M550 on June 7, 2009 in either blue or purple. No info on pricing at this time.

Samsung HMX-H106 Camcorder in Korea


If you are living in Korea, then you are able to buy the new Samsung HMX-H106 camcorder for $900 each. This camcorder features an internal 64GB SSD with full 1080p recording capability and an integrated SDHC memory card slot. Other features include 10x optical zoom through a Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan lens, hardware image stabilization, 4.7-megapixel still shooting and a built-in flash.

Samsung U5 MP3 Player With a Fitness Program


Samsung will launch the U5 MP3 player that comes with a special fitness program in the Korean market. This program will allow you to know calorie consumption you can expect from your exercises. The player also supports Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) sound enhancement technology, a 1-inch OLED display, an FM radio, a 2GB of internal storage, and up to 20 hours of playback time. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing or availability.

Samsung's Preston and Star Mobile Phones


Samsung has launched two new cell phones for the mass market. Known as the Preston (S5600) and Star (S5230), both handsets are almost similar except that the Preston boasts a faster HSDPA connectivity for data. The Samsung Preston and Star feature an integrated FM radio, a 3.2MP camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Preston features a 2.8-inch display, meanwhile the Star has a larger 3-inch display. Both phones also use the Widget UI that allows you to drag and drop widgets onto the main screen depending on what you need to access.

Samsung Releases Two ‘Touch of Color’ Camcorders


Samsung will release the SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 Touch of Color camcorders in July 2009. Both camcorders are small enough to carry around, and this makes them a great option to capture all of life’s special moments. The SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 feature 10x optical zoom, Hyper Image Stabilization, Active Angle Lens, 2.7 inch screen, 16GB internal storage (only SMX-C14), SD/SDHC memory card slot, one-touch upload button and H.264 compression. The Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 also support play-edit-sharing program called intelli-studio that allows users to connect these camcorder to any computer via USB and edit and play their video without having to install supporting software.

The 3.5 inch external hard drive comes in an aluminum casing and features enhanced security software to protect your sensitive data. The device also comes with three important safety features including Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey. Available in 500GB, 1TB, and 1.5TB storage capacities, the Samsung STORY Station is scheduled for release in May 2009.

Samsung B5702 Dual Sim Mobile Phone


Samsung has announced the Samsung B5702 phone today. It is a dual sim, dual-standby mobile phone that allows users to operate two SIM cards in one mobile phone simultaneously. This GSM Quad-band phone uses two LED lights two indicate which SIM is being used by an incoming call. The phone comes with an audio and video player, 3.0-megapixel camera and an FM radio with Radio Data System (RDS) function. The Samsung B5702 will be launched in several markets including Russia in May this year.
