Mitsubishi LaserVue TV Price Cut


It seems that Mitsubishi wants to push its LaserVue HDTVs in the market by slashing its prices. The Mitsubishi L65A90 65-inch LaserVue HDTV is now available at Amazon for $6,499, giving it a $500 reduction over last September’s $6,999 introduction price. For your info, the Laser TVs are energy efficient, 3D-ready and come in a super slim case.

FineDigital FineDrive Voice 3.0 Speech Recognition-Enabled Navigation Device


The FineDrive Voice 3.0 is the latest speech recognition-enabled navigation device from FineDigital for the Korean market. This portable device is based on SiRF Prima platform and adopts ETRI’s Fine SRTM 3.0 speech recognition engine, allowing you to control all the functions within the device through speech. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing so far.

Amex Digital 4x External and Slim Blu-Ray Recorder for Mac

11.6-inch AMD-powered Medion Akoya Mini E1312


Medion will release the Akoya Mini E1312 11.6-inch netbook in the UK exclusively at Aldi stores from July 12th, 2009 onwards. The netbook comes jam packed with a 1366 x 768 LCD display, an AMD Sempron 210U CPU, an ATI Radeon TM Xpress 1250 graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Available in black or white, the netbook also features a 6-cell or 9-cell battery, HDMI out, three USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3MP webcam for video conference, and Microsoft Windows XP Home OS. The 11.6-inch AMD-powered Medion Akoya Mini E1312 will retail for around £339.99 ($551) with a 3-year warranty.

Measuring at only 2-mm x 16-mm, the speaker is currently available in 10 different colors including black, blue, yellow, gray, green, orange, pink, purple, red, and white. Eris Planetary Sphere Watch


Designed by students from l’Ecole d’Arts Appliqués Genèva, the Eris Planetary Sphere Watch is a 100% Swiss made product by Pierre Junod Switzerland that can be worn as a pocket watch, pendant or used as a small desk clock. The watch tells time using a couple of rotating hands that float through the “equator” of the watch. The orange top pointer indicates minutes, meanwhile the hours are shown on the white lower pointer. The Eris is constructed from an anthracite anodized aluminum case with a curved mineral glass crystal to protect the hands. Tad-Labs Unveils TAD-M600 Monaural Power Amp


Tad-Labs has unveiled its latest Monaural Power Amp for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the TAD-M600, this 90kg machine features a 600W output (20Hz to 20kHz) with a THD of 0.2% and a frequency response of 1Hz-100kH (+0/-1 dB). The TAD-M600 will be available in Japan in the middle of November 2009 for around 2,625,000 Yen ($28,000).

Eurotech’s Atom-powered in-wall Panel Computers


Eurotech today released three in-wall panel computers that are powered by Intel’s Atom processor. The 12-inch Vx-120F-N270 and 15-inch Vx-150F-N270 are powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor, a fanless design, a high-brightness LCD screen, two Gigabit Ethernet jacks, a front-mounted USB port and an expansion slot for add-on boards. Meanwhile, the Bx-400F-N270 is a rugged in-wall panel computer, which can resist mechanical and temperature stresses, commonly found in industrial applications. The Bx-400F-N270 can be equipped with a Compact Flash reader and a pre-installed Microsoft Windows XP OS.

Inno3D Introduces The iChill GeForce GTS 250


Inno3D has introduced a new graphics card to its iChill line-up in the form of the GeForce GTS 250. This new graphics card integrates a 55nm G92b GPU clocked at 738MHz, 128 Processing Cores, a 1GB of GDDR3 memory @ 2300MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, DirectX 10 support, two gold plated DVI outputs and a single Accelero Twin Turbo PRO cooler with two 92mm fans and four copper heatpipes. The iChill GeForce GTS 250 is expected to hit stores later this month for unannounced price yet.

Samsung MBP200 Pico Projector Released in Germany


Samsung’s famous MBP200 Pico Projector has been released in Germany for 375 Euros or around $521. As a reminder, the MBP200 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Its projector panel supports HVGA resolution and can project pictures perfectly on a 50-inch screen. The device also supports a variety of multimedia file formats.

Upcoming Sony Ericsson ‘Kiki’ With Transparent Display


Sony Ericsson’s upcoming “Kiki” has been unveiled. The phone features a unique transparent glasslike display that allows images projected on it can be viewed from both sides of the handset. The cell phone also has a smooth surface keypad on the front, where the numbers should appear only when the phone is turned on. There is no further info about this handset. We will keep you posted.

Mitsubishi Readies The RDT221WH 22-Inch Monitor


Mitsubishi is getting ready to add a new member to its Diamondcrysta monitor series with their upcoming 22-inch RDT221WH(BK). This new widescreen LCD supports a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels and features 5ms GTG response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and covers 97% of the Adobe RGB color range. In addition, it also comes with D-Sub and DVI connectors. The RDT221WH(BK) is set to be launched in Japan on July 17 for around $300.

PC-Koubou Computers Bundled With Street Fighter IV DVD Game


PC-Koubou has collaborated with Capcom to launch two desktops and one laptop that come bundled with a Street Fighter IV DVD game and the X360 PC controller. The PC-Koubou Amphis GS806iCi7 Type-Srx-ST4 is powered by a 2.66-GHz Intel Core i7 920 CPU with a 3GB of RAM, an nVidia GeForce GTS 250 with 512MB of VRAM, and a 1TB of HDD. The desktop is priced at 139,800 Yen (1,467). Meanwhile, the PC-Koubou Amphis BTO GS804iC2D-ST features a 3-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU, a 2GB of RAM, an nVidia GeForce GTS 250 with 512MB of VRAM, and a 500GB of HDD. You can purchase it for 109,980 Yen ($1,154).

The PC-Koubou Lesance GSN628GW TYPE-G-ST4 laptop boasts a 2.53-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, a 4GB of RAM, an nVidia GeForce GT 130M with 512MB of VRAM, a 320 HDD, and a 15.4-inch LCD screen with a WUXGA resolution. The laptop retails for 149,980 Yen ($1,574). These computers also feature a DVD Super Multi and Microsoft Windows Vista OS.

Mitsubishi’s Latest 24.1-inch LCD Monitor


The Viseo MDT243WG is Mitsubishi’s brand new 24.1-inch LCD that produces WUXGA resolution with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 500cd/m2 brightness level. Available in Satin Black, this LCD monitor also features two HDMI ports, S-Video, DVI-D (HDCP), D-Sub 15, and a couple of 5-Watts speakers. The Mitsubishi Viseo MDT243WG will be released in Japan later this month for 99800 Yen ($1,048).

Upcoming Aluminum iRiver E200 PMP


Here are two leaked pictures of the upcoming iRiver E200 that has a similar design with its E100 predecessor, despite a new thinner, all-metal design, and a larger screen. The E200 comes with a 2.8-inch display OLED screen with a 4GB or 8GB storage space that can be upgradable via a MicroSD card slot. The new player has been slimmed down to 9.9mm, versus the E100’s 11.3mm. Other features include touch-sensitive controls and interface. No word on pricing or availability at this time.

Jobo’s New Curve Digital Picture Frames

Archos 9 Tablet PC Runs on Windows 7


The upcoming Archos 9 mini tablet PC is powered by Windows 7 as its operating system. Weighing at only 22-ounces, the tablet netbook has a 9-inch touch sensitive display with an Intel Atom Z515 CPU, and a storage capacity of 60GB or 120GB. The Archos 9 mini tablet PC will be released during Fall 2009. No info on pricing so far.

HP XW9400 Workstations Introduced


HP has recently unveiled its latest line of xw9400 Workstations, which are powered by AMD’s six-core Opteron 2400 series. Dubbed as Istanbul, these processors are capable of offering the system up to a dozen cores and are also claimed to provide around 34% more performance per watt when compared to earlier quad-cores. The Opteron 2400 processors will have speeds that range from 2.2GHz to 2.6GHz. The HP XW9400 Workstations also features the high-end AMD’s FirePro V7750 workstation-class graphics card. The price starts from $1,899 upwards.
