Panasonic Lets Note Light 10.4-inch Laptop with SSD


Panasonic just announced its new 10.4-inch laptop for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the Lets Note Light R8 CF-R8WWLAJP, the notebook has a 1.4-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU, a 2GB of RAM that is upgradable up to 4GB, and a 64GB of SSD with 220MB/s reading speed. Its battery provides up to 9-hours of operation time. Other features include Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet. You can buy the Panasonic Lets Note Light R8 CF-R8WWLAJP for $1750 each.

Ozaki iCommand for the iPod Shuffle


Priced at $18, the Ozaki iCommand enables the iPod shuffle 3rd generation to work with common third-party headphones. The device features integrated volume controls on one side and a multifunction play/pause/track button on the other.




Epson Endeavor NP11-V Nettop PC


The Epson Endeavor NP11-V is an energy efficient nettop that needs only 40Watts of power. The mini computer is powered by an Intel Atom 230 CPU with a standard SIS672 or SIS968 chipset, a 1GB RAM and a 160GB HDD. If you are interested, you can buy the Endeavor NP11-V for around 195 Euro ($272).

Viliv S7 Power-Saving 7-Inch MID


Viliv has showcased its new power-saving 7-inch MID during Computex 2009. Known as the S7, this portable device is equipped with a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) swiveling touch screen, a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1.3MP camera, a 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, WiFi, Bluetooth, DMB, GPS, HSDPA and 9 hours of battery life in video playback. Pricing and availability are still unknown.




Acer Gateway One ZX6800 All-In-One PC


The Gateway One ZX6800 is the latest all-in-one PC from Acer that sports a 23-inch full HD touchscreen. Other interesting features include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a UMA discrete graphics, a DDR3 memory, a 3.5-inch SATA II HDD, a webcam, a hybrid TV tuner card, built-in HD speakers, WiFi and Windows Vista OS. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.




Upcoming Samsung B5100 Smartphone


Samsung is set to launch another one of its smartphone namely the Samsung B5100. This unannounced mid-end candybar phone will feature the Symbian S60 operating system, a metallic case, a QVGA display, a 3MP camera with LED flash, DivX playback support, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and HSDPA connectivity. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment.

Toshiba Mini NB205 Netbook Now Available in US


The highly anticipated Toshiba Mini NB205 netbook has finally reached US and will be available starting late June for $349. In case you’ve forgotten, this mini laptop sports a 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite backlit LED display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, up to 2GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD with impact sensor, Windows XP Home OS, a built-in webcam, a 2-in-1 memory card slot, a security lock slot, a USB port with Sleep-and-Charge, two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 6-cell battery.

Thanko’s New Tiny Micro LED Pico Projector


Thanko Japan has unveiled the M100 Pico Projector that can project a 45-inch screen from a distance of 2-meters. The projector also sports a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, a mono speaker, 10 lumens brightness, a contrast ratio of 200:1, and a mini tripod. Measuring 37mm × 60mm × 61mm and weighing 142-grams, the Thanko M100 is available in Japan for 28,200 Yen ($300).

Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart And Naite Phones


The C901 GreenHeart and Naite are the latest eco-friendly phones from Sony Ericsson that feature recycled plastic components, waterborne paint and eco-friendly packaging. So here are the specs, the C901 is equipped with a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 240 x 320 resolution, a 5MP camera with xenon flash, a 120MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and supports both quad band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) as well as dual band HSPA connectivity (900/2100 MHz). meanwhile, the Naite offers a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 240 x 320 resolution, a 2MP camera, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and supports both quad band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) as well as HSDPA connectivity (2100 MHz). The C901 will be available in selected markets from Q2 while the Naite from Q3. Pricing info is still unknown at the moment.

Maingear Pulse Gaming PC


Most of high-powered gaming PCs come with 1000+W power supplies. However, Maingear’s Pulse Gaming PC is different. The desktop is powered by only 300W Power Supply (80% more energy efficient). It boasts an Intel 65-Watt dual or quad core CPU, nVidia Ion chipset with internal GF 9300 GPU, and an optional Geforce 9800GT ECO graphics card. The integrated GeForce 9300 is not fast enough, but it will run older games and more recent games with reduced image quality and resolution.

Via Amos 3000 Computer


Here is the Via Amos 3000, a fanless computer that is powered by a 500MHz processor and VESA mounting tracks, so you can screw it into the back of most monitors. Its Pico ITX motherboard supports a 1GB of RAM, UniChrome video, Gigabit Ethernet, and a single 44-pin IDE interface. Other features include four USB ports, a VGA, a DVI and a serial port on the back. The computer runs on either Windows XP, XP embedded or CE.

AUO eBook at Display Taiwan 2009


AUO has debuted its 6-inch touch function eBook reader that is powered by Sipix’s exclusive Microcup technology at Display Taiwan 2009. The eBook reader comes with 800 x 600 high-definition screens, 16 gray levels, high contrast ratio and high reflectance. The AUO eBook is an eco-friendly product with stable quality picture performance and only consumes power when updating images. No idea on its pricing details though.

Maingear ePhex X58 Elite Gaming PC


Maingear comes back with a gaming PC in the form of the ePhex X58 Elite. The computer adopts Asus X58 motherboard which is capable of holding multiple video cards from either NVIDIA or ATI. You can install up to three NVIDIA GTX 285s or ATI HD 4890s. The ePhex X58 Elite also supports up to 24GB RAM with an Intel Core i7 975 Extreme processor. However, you should have at least $5,660 in order to buy the Maingear ePhex X58 Elite Gaming PC.

Priced at a hefty $8000, the NEC CRV-43 43-inch curved monitor comes with a double WGXA resolution (2880 x 900) with a 32:10 aspect ratio, a LED backlight, and DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 port. The NEC CRV43 curved display is backed by a 3-year parts and labor warranty including the backlight and will be available in July 2009.

PARTNER Unveils 10.1-inch Digital Menu Board ‘Menu Online’


PARTNER has unveiled their new digital menu board ‘Menu Online’ during Computex 2009. This portable device comes equipped with a 10.1-inch 800 x 480 pixels TFT LCD with resistive touch panel and LED backlit, a 532MHz Freescale iMX.31 CPU, a 128MB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment.



BenQ Releases 11.6-Inch Netbook


BenQ has introduced a new netbook to its range in the form of the Joybook Lite U121 Eco that sports an 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixel. This mini-laptop is equipped with a low power Intel Atom Z520/Z530 processor, a Mobile Intel Polsbo US15W Express chipset, an Intel GMA500 graphics, a full sized keyboard, up to 500GB HDD, up to 32GB SSD, an Ethernet port, 3 USB ports, optional Bluetooth and HSUPA connectivities, a choice of either Windows XP home or Linpus Linux Lite OS and a 3 cell battery. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.

Acer Showcases F1 Smartphone


Here’s another smartphone from Acer that has been showcased at Computex 2009 known as the Acer F1. Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, the F1 sports a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 800 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, WiFi, a 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS. The handset might be released in September for unannounced price yet.




Buffalo USB 1Seg TV Tuner


Buffalo comes back with a USB 1Seg TV tuner, which is dubbed as the DH-MONE/U2. The device will be priced at only 6,090 Yen ($63) and is 70% smaller that its predecessor. The gadget also needs only 140mA power consumption.
