Samsung is set to release their latest high-end landscape slider namely the Samsung Louvre B7610. This new smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and features a 3.5-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, a 5MP camera with image stabilization, an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, an FM radio with RDS, a 1GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA connectivity and a 1500 mAh battery. The handset is expected to be launched by Orange and SFR in France starting July for prices between €250 and €500.

The Eye of Sauron in Your Room


Here is a LED lamp concept that looks like the eye of Sauron from the Lord of the Rings movie. Dubbed as the Eye Dot Me, the lamp was designed by Simon Schiessl and Felix Hardwood as part of the 2009 DMY Berlin Design Festival. It comes with high-powered LEDs that create the illusion of an iris inside the lamp and gives a freaky experience like somebody is watching over you.

Eizo’s 23-inch LCD with Display Port and DVI-D (HDCP)


Here is the latest 23-inch LCD screen from Eizo that comes equipped with a Display Port and DVI-D (HDCP). Known as the FlexScan EV2333W-H, the monitor features 1920×1080 resolution with a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a 7ms response time, and a 300cd/m2 brightness level. It is scheduled to be released in the middle of July in Japan for 54,800 Yen ($558).

Archos Expands Its Netbook Lineup With The Archos 10s


Archos has added a new netbook to its range in the form of the Archos 10s. This slim and light netbook measures only 0.87 inches thick and weighs just 2.2 pounds, however the specs remain the same to the original Archos 10. Here are the specs: a 10.2-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 80GB hard drive, Microsoft Windows XP Home OS and a choice of either three-cell or six-cell battery. The Archos 10s will be available later this month for unannounced price yet.

Alltel Launches LG Tritan AX840



LG is out with another one of its slider phone namely the LG Tritan AX840 which is now available through Alltel networks. It can be purchased online and from Alltel’s stores across the US for as low as $79.99 with a contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. As for the specs itself, you’ll find a 3-inch full touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera with video recording, GPS (Alltel Navigation), a microSD card slot, a voice recognition, a full internet browser, E-mail and EV-DO Rev A connectivity.

LG 24-inch LED Blu Display


The LG will release the LED Blu display that was debuted at CES 2009. Measuring at only 20mm thin, this 24-inch LED backlight LCD monitor will come with Full HD support at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a fast 2ms response time. The LG 24-inch LED Blu display is priced at around €219 ($306).

iRiver P35 32GB Shipped


iRiver has recently upgraded its P35 PMP with a huge 32GB of storage capacity. The player boasts a 4.3-inch WQVGA display and a microSD slot that supports up to 16GB cards. The Korean version also comes with an optional DMB digital TV tuner, which you can’t find in the US version. The touchscreen PMP is currently available in Korea for 488,000 Won ($389) and will be available in the US this Fall. No word on pricing of the US version. Stay tuned for more updates.

Toshiba Introduces Satellite L500 and L550 Laptops


Toshiba has introduced two new widescreen laptops in the form of the Satellite L500 and L550. The L500 offers a 15.6-inch HD TruBrite display with 1366 x 768 resolution, meanwhile, the L550 sports a bigger 17.3-inch HD TruBrite display with power saving LED backlight technology, and a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. As for the rest of the specs remain the same for both machines, you’ll find a choice of either an Intel Celeron / Pentium / Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon / Turion processor, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a VGA web camera supporting Toshiba’s Face Recognition software, an HDMI port, a 4-in-1 Bridge Media slot, two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet and an additional eSATA/USB combo port. Both systems will be available in the third quarter of 2009 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Dignlab Wall-Mounted PC


Dignlab has showed off the world’s first wall-mounted PC equipped with a 7-inch touch LCD panel during COMPUTEX 2009. Measuring at just 56mm x 196mm x 325mm, the computer comes with a 7-inch touchscreen LCD display, a 3.5-inch hard drive, and a built-in memory card reader. No info on pricing so far.

FujiFilm FinePix Z300 Point-and-shoot Camera


FujiFilm will release another Point-and-shoot camera in Japan next week in the form of the FinePix Z300. Available in Pink, White Pearl, Purple and Black, this 10-megapixels camera features a 5.7x optical zoom, a 100 to 1600 ISO speed, a 31MB of internal memory, and a 3-inch touch LCD display. The digicam also supports both SD and SDHC cards. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.

Compal KAX15 MID


Compal has showed off their next generation KAX15 MID during Computex 2009 in Taiwan. The gadget is claimed to be the world’s smallest Windows-based MID. The KAX15 MID features a 4.8 inch display with 800 x 480 resolution and an 800MHz processor upscaling to 1.2GHz.

Monster MCC AV50 Home Theater Controller


Monster will release the MCC AV50 Home Theater Controller this month. It is actually a tabletop universal remote control that comes in a portable game console-like design. The device features a Web-based setup, and simple touch commands like “Play a DVD” or “Listen to Satellite Radio.” The Monster MCC AV50 will retail for $49.95 a pop.

Sharp will release nine LED lamps for the Japanese market. These environmental friendly LED lamps feature a similar screw-in base with standard lamps that makes them backward compatible with the ordinary light bulbs sockets. The DL-L60AV LED Lamp comes with an Adjustable Color Function that allows you to change the color using a remote control. All LED lamps come with a service life of 40,000 hours.

Garmin Foretrex 401 GPS Navigation Gadget


Garmin has updated its GPS navigation gadget series by releasing the new Foretrex 401. The gadget has a 1.4-inch x 0.9-inch display screen with a 2-axis digital compass, a barometric altimeter, and a USB port to connect to a computer. The Foretrex 401 is about 20% smaller than its predecessor (Foretex 201 and 101). This navigation device requires two AAA batteries that can last up to 24 hours. The Garmin Foretrex 401 will retail for just $250 when it is released later this June 16th.

If you’re looking for an affordable solar-powered phone, then be sure to check out Samsung’s upcoming E1107 Crest Solar phone. On the back cover of this phone you’ll find a large solar cell that can keep its 800mAh battery charged when exposed to the sun. 1 hour of solar charging can provide an additional 5 to 10 minutes of talk time. So here are the rest of the specs: a 1.52-inch CSTN display with 128 x 128 pixels and 65K colors, an FM radio, MP3 ringtones, a built-in flashlight, a Mobile Tracker and supports dual band GSM connectivity (900/1800 MHz). Other interesting features include a 12,000:1 contrast ratio, SmartImage technology to enhance contrast, color saturation and sharpness of images and videos, and TrueVision Technology for monitor adjusting and fine tuning. Apple Introduces The New IPhone 3G S


Apple has just introduced their new iPhone 3G S which will be available in the US starting June 19. Other 80 countries around the world will get the iPhone 3G S in the coming weeks. So let’s check out some of the specs, a high-quality 3MP autofocus camera, VGA video recording at 30fps, a 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, a built-in digital compass for instant navigation, a voice control and the new iPhone 3.0 OS with over 100 new features such as MMS, Cut, Copy and Paste, landscape keyboard, Spotlight Search and more. The iPhone 3G S will be available in two different versions: 16GB and 32GB, as for the price itself, the 16GB version will set you back $199 and $299 for the 32GB version. Both prices requiring a new 2-year contract agreement with AT&T.

Hannspree’s Hannsnote Mini Notebook Goes On Sale


Hannspree has announced the availability of its ultra-mobile Hannsnote Mini Notebook via online from UK retailer Misco. The Hannsnote was first introduced back in May, in case you missed it, here’s a brief reminder, this mini notebook offers a 10-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, an Intel GMA950 graphics card, a 1.3MP webcam, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Windows XP Home OS, 3 USB ports, a 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and a six-cell lithium-ion battery. Maxell to Release HP-CN22 In-ear Headphones


Here is a tiny in-ear headphones from Maxell that weights at only 16-grams. The HPCN22 will be released on June 25th, 2009 in 8 different colors. The headphones feature a 90dB/Mw on a 20Hz-22kHz frequency. No info on pricing so far.

Two 24-inch LCD Displays from NEC


NEC has released two new LCD displays in the US, which is known as the LCD2490WUXi2 and LCD2490W2. These 24-inch LCD screens support IPS panels that produce superior images compared to PVA or TN screens. These LCD displays also provides approximately 96.7% coverage of the sRGB color space that is perfect for pro-level image editing. Other features include 12-bit color lookup tables, ambient light sensors to auto-adjust brightness and compensation for color and light variances across the LCD, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a brightness level of 320cd/m2. The NEC LCD2490WUXi2 and LCD2490W2 are priced at $1,099 and $1,299, respectively.

Apple just released three new members for its MacBook Pro Aluminum Unibody series that include a 13-inch, a 15-inch and a 17 inch versions. All of these models provide 40% longer battery life with its built-in battery that provides 7-hours of work on a single charge. Other cool features include a LED-backlit displays, the Multi-Touch trackpad, an illuminated keyboard, a new SD card (13 and 15-inch) or ExpressCard slot (17-inch), a FireWire 800 port and new NVIDIA graphics. You can also upgrade these new MacBooks with up to 8GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive or a 256GB solid state drive. The 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros can also be upgraded up with a 3.06-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The price ranges from $1200 to $2500, depending on the specs.
