Acer H235H 23-Inch LCD HD Display


The H235H is the latest premium LCD display from Acer that comes with HD resolution. This stylish monitor offers a 23-inch widescreen LCD with 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 2ms response time, an ultra-high 100,000:1 contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m2 brightness and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. In addition, it also integrates three different connectivity ports which include VGA, HDMI and DVI with HDCP. The H235H will be available in July for unannounced price yet.

ASUS Launches ROG G51 And G60 Gaming Notebook


ASUS has rolled out two new gaming notebooks in the form of the G51Vx and G60Vx. The G51Vx features a smaller 15.6-inch FHD/HD LED LCD, meanwhile the G60Vx offers a bigger 16-inch HD LED backlight display. As for the rest of the specs remain the same for both notebooks, you’ll find an optional Intel Core 2 Quad or Core 2 Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M with GDDR3 1GB VRAM, up to 4GB RAM, a max 1TB storage, an illuminated chiclet keyboard, instant gaming keys, a 2MP camera, a Blu-ray Combo, Windows Vista OS and Creative’s industry-defining EAX and CMSS audio technologies. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.

Nokia N97 Coming To 3 UK With Free Skype Calling


The Nokia N97 will soon make its way to 3 UK before the end of this month (June). Unlike most carriers, 3 UK is offering you free Skype-to Skype calls across most of its range. The phone itself will be sold for £319.99 (€375 or $527) on pay as you go, or with a contract agreement for at least £35 a month. You’ll be able to pre-order it starting today via 3’s official website.

Altec Lansing OMNI Speakers


Designed by Nuno Teixeira, the Altec Lansing OMNI speakers look like tall vases. These speakers boast heavy construction to ensure lesser vibrations and superior sound quality. Each of these speakers comes with a woofer, a mid-range speaker and a tweeter. Sadly, it is only a concept. No word on when the Altec Lansing OMNI speakers will go into production.

Nextar Launches 43LT Navigation System


Nextar has launched its 43LT navigation system that provides free live traffic updates with its 3D graphics. The gadget also features a 4.3-inch display with 1.6 million points of interest, an SD memory card slot, text-to-speech functionality, audio and video playback, and the bundled live traffic receiver. You can purchase the Nextar Launches 43LT for around $169.99 MSRP.

MiLi Pro iPhone Projector


The MiLi Pro LCOS, LED-driven projector will turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into a projector. All you have to do is to plug your iPhone or iPod Touch with the device. This mini projector has a 640×480 resolution with 10 lumens, VGA and RCA inputs, and a dock connector. The MiLi Pro iPhone projector will be released in September 2009. No word on pricing at this time.

The hard drive maker Buffalo will launch a new range of portable hard drives. Available in black, red, or white, the new Buffalo Ministation Metro will come in sizes up to 500GB. It is priced at around $200 when it is released in UK this August.

BeoVision 4 103-inch Plasma Display


Bang & Olufsen has introduced the BeoVision 4 103-inch plasma display, which is claimed to be the ultimate flat screen TV in the market today. The plasma screen comes equipped with its own stand that can lift the screen and turn and tilt it to the optimal viewing position at the touch of a button. Available in black, silver, red, blue, and dark grey, the BeoVision 4 can be custom ordered from any Bang & Olufsen showroom. A lead time of three to four months is expected as each product is custom built-to-order and requires a special “white-glove” delivery and installation process. The MSRP for the BeoVision 4 is $93,050 on wall mount or $111,805 on motorized floor stand.

Sony Ericsson VH310 Bluetooth Headset


Available in black or silver, the Sony Ericsson VH310 Bluetooth headset is designed for comfort and made to fit everyone. The headset weights at only 10-grams. Its battery provides up to 11-hours of talk time and 500-hours of standby time. Each purchase comes with three earpieces and two removable ear hooks. No word on availability or pricing at this time.

GE Introduces E1250TW Digital Camera


The E1250TW is the latest point-and-shoot camera from GE. This 12-megapixel camera boasts a 28mm wide angle lens, 5x optical zoom and a 3-inch touchscreen display. Other interesting specs include auto detection, face detection, blink detection, smile detection, an auto adjust LCD, red-eye removal, Pan-capture Panorama and HDTV output. The E1250TW is now available for purchase on HSN and on Amazon.com.

Gateway Launches FHD2102 and FHD2402 LCD Monitors


Gateway has added two new LCD monitors to its range with the introduction of FHD2102 bmidgz and FHD2402 bmidgz. The FHD2102 bmidgz features a 21.5-inch widescreen display with 1920×1080 maximum resolution, a 60Hz (maximum) refresh rate, a 5ms response time, a 20000:1 max (Dynamic) contrast ratio, a 300cd/m2 brightness and 170° (H)/160° (V) viewing angles.

Meanwhile, the FHD2402 bmidgz offers a bigger 24-inch widescreen display with 1920×1080 maximum resolution, a 60Hz (maximum) refresh rate, a 2ms response time, a 40000:1 max (Dynamic) contrast ratio, a 300cd/m2 brightness and 170° (H)/160° (V) viewing angles. The FHD2102 bmidgz and FHD2402 bmidgz are priced at $199.99 and $269.99 respectively.

Gateway NV Budget Designer Notebooks


Gateway has recently introduced a new notebook series intended for the back-to-school audience. The NV series has a minimalist and glossy design with touch-sensitive shortcut keys. Priced at around $500, the basic model features a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display, a 2.1GHz Athlon 64 X2 CPU, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and an integrated-level Radeon HD 3200 for graphics. You can also add an extra $100 to get a faster 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo CPU.

Sony Ericsson Launches T715 Slider Phone


The T715 is the latest slider phone from Sony Ericsson that comes in two different versions namely the Sony Ericsson T715 (with quad-band GSM and 2100 HSPA), and Sony Ericsson T715a (with quad-band GSM and 850/1900/2100 HSPA). This mid-end handset is equipped with a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. Sony Ericsson T715 and T715a will be available starting the third quarter of 2009, in two color versions: Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink for unannounced price yet.

Philips HTS8160B Bluray Soundbar with iPod Dock


The Philips HTS8160B Bluray Soundbar is now available in Singapore. This home theater system consists of a Blu-ray disc player, a separate subwoofer, and the Ambisound HD speakers system that boasts Dolby True HD audio format and 7.1-channel surround sound. The HTS8160B is also compatible with the iPod/iPhone. If you are interested, you should have at least $1,500 in your pocket. The release date for the North American market is still unknown.

USB Artillery Hub


Here is another innovative USB Hub that features three USB ports that trigger an artillery sound effect when a device is plugged in. Unfortunately, it only supports USB 1.1. Measuring 130mm x 63mm x 62mm and weighing 105grams, the USB Artillery Hub retails for $12 a pop.

Patriot Convoy XL 3.5-inch HDD/SSD Storage Enclosures


Patriot Memory today introduced the Convoy XL dual 3.5-inch HDD/SSD enclosures. It is a complete RAID solution with USB and eSATA connectivity. Its dual 2.5-inch drive bays can hold either two SSDs and/or HDDs mounted in one 3.5-inch form factor bay. The built-in RAID controller can be configured for performance (RAID 0), redundant for backup (RAID 1), or two drives combined to be one large drive (JBOD). No word on pricing so far.

LG Launches Two 55-inch Wireless LCD HDTVs


LG has released two new wireless 55-inch LCD HDTVs in the form of 55LH95 and 55LH93. Both LCDs feature the company’s latest ultrathin LED-backlit sets and packs a total of 3,360 LEDs, which is around seven times that used in most edge-lit LED TVs. Other features include a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a wireless feature which allows various devices such as DVD players and game consoles connected to the local network to transmit information wirelessly without the need for an HDMI cable. The LG 55LH95 and 55LH93 are priced at around $5,500 and $5,900, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Available Via O2 Germany


O2 online shop has launched the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, which is claimed to be the highest-end Android device in the market today. The smartphone supports for 7.2Mbps HSDPA, an 8GB of internal storage, and a 3.2-inch AMOLED display. The Galaxy is priced at 69,99 Euro or approx. $98.

ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC Now Available


ViewSonic has just announced the availability of its VPC100 all-in-one PC that was introduced back in April. In case you’ve forgotten, this super-thin PC offers an 18.5-inch LCD with a 1366×768 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a built-in DVD drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, four USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, a gigabit Ethernet port, a pair of 2.5W speakers and runs on Windows XP Home OS. In addition, it also includes a full-size keyboard and an optical mouse. The VPC100 all-in-one PC is available now, priced at $599.

HP Introduces Mini 5101 Netbook


The HP Mini 5101 is the company’s latest Mini netbook PC that is targeted especially at students and mobile professionals. This stylish machine comes packed with a 10.1-inch diagonal LED display (WSVGA or HD resolution), an Intel Atom processor, a 2GB RAM, a 7,200 RPM hard drive, an optional 128GB SSD, a spill-resistant keyboard, a 2.0MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a choice of either 4 or 6 cell battery. The HP Mini 5101 should become available in late July for a starting price of $449.

HTC Hero Now Official


HTC has officially unveiled their third Android smartphone in the form of the HTC Hero. This new smartphone is packed with a 3.2-inch fingerprint-resistant touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels, a 5MP camera with autofocus, HTC’s latest Sense UI, an accelerometer sensor, Android 1.5 OS, Google Maps, Google Streetview and various other Google apps / services, GPS, WiFi, a microSDHC card slot, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports GSM as well as HSDPA connectivity. The HTC Hero will be available In Europe starting early July via Orange UK for unannounced price yet.

Pentax Optio W80 Rugged Compact Digicam


Pentax will release its rugged point-and-shoot camera next month. Known as the Optio W80, the camera is waterproof up to 16 feet underwater, works in 14 degree weather, and will survive drops from 3.3 feet. Available in Cardinal Red, Azure Blue and Gunmetal Gray, the Pentax Optio W80 will be released in July for $300 each. Pentax also provides a custom designed clear protective skin for $16.95 along with a comfortable floating wrist strap for $19.95.

Seagate FreeAgent Go Dock+


Seagate’s FreeAgent Go Dock+ is a USB hub and dock for the FreeAgent Go that provides a complete storage toolkit for today’s creative professionals including web designers, musicians, graphic artists and multimedia enthusiasts. The device comes with a three-port USB hub. It is available this month for $99.99 (250GB), $119.99 (320GB), and $149.99 (500GB).

HP ProBrook 4310s Laptop


Hewlett-Packard will launch the ProBook 4310s on July 20th, 2009. It is a 13.3-inch laptop that is powered by Intel Celeron or Core 2 Duo CPU, FreeDOS or Vista operating system, a DVD or Blu-ray optical drive, and an integrated or discrete graphics (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 with a 512MB of RAM and HyperMemory support). The HP ProBrook 4310s also supports up to 8GB RAM, EV-DO, ExpressCard 34, and an SD memory card. The HP ProBook 4310s is priced at $799 upwards, depending on the specs.

Another LED Backlight TV by JVC


JVC today showed off the new 32-inch LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV at the CEDIA expo, It has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and 90% Adobe RGB color space. Measuring at only 7mm thin, this 32-inch also comes with two HDMI inputs, a PC input, an USB port and an SD memory card slot. The JVC 32-inch LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV retails for £1,900 ($3,124) when it is released in the UK sometime this October/November 2009.

Lenovo Releases ThinkPad T400s Slim Laptop


Lenovo has introduced the successor to its ThinkPad T400 notebook series in the form of the ThinkPad T400s. This new business laptop measures only 0.83-inches thick and features a 14.1-inch WXGA LED LCD, a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SP9400 processor, an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 120GB Low Halogen HDD, a 2MP webcam, a multi-touch pad, an optional DVD burner or Blu-ray player, an ExpressCard slot, Windows Vista Business OS and a 6-cell battery. Now here’s the good news, the ThinkPad T400s is now available for purchase at LogicBUY for as low as $1,359.15 shipped (original price $1870).

Motorola Karma QA1 To Hit AT&T On June 28


AT&T is set to launch another quick messaging phone from Motorola namely the Motorola Karma QA1 on June 28. This oval shaped phone is targeted especially at teenagers and young adults, and comes with interesting features like a 2.5-inch QVGA display, a 2MP camera with flash and video recording, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, threaded messaging, a homescreen with one-click-access icons for Facebook and MySpace, 3G, GPS, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports dual band GSM connectivity (850/1900 MHz). AT&T will sell the Karma for as low as $79.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and choose a plan of at least $60 per month.

Gateway Timeline LT3100 Now Official


The Gateway’s latest Timeline netbook is now available for purchase. The mini-laptop is powered by a 1.2GHz Athlon 64 L110 processor with an integrated ATI Radeon X1270 graphics card, a WXGA resolution display, a 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. Other features include a memory card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity, an integrated webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell Li-ion battery. Available in NightSky Black and Cherry Red, the Gateway Timeline LT3100 retails for $400 upwards, depending on the specs.

Matrox Introduces Two New M-Series Graphics Cards


Matrox has added two new DisplayPort graphics cards to its M-Series line-up with the introduction of M9138 and M9148 (pictured above). Both of these low profile cards feature a PCI-Express x16 interface, a 1GB of onboard memory, an OpenGL 2.0 support and can handle triple (M9138) and quad-monitor (M9148) setups, delivering a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 for each display. The M9138 and M9148 should become available shortly for unannounced price yet.

Pioneer’s Latest Portable Slim DVD Recorder


The DVR-XD09J is Pioneer’s latest portable DVD and CD burner. Measures 133mm x 133mm x 14.8mm and weights 240grams, the burner is able to burn DVD±R at 8x and DVD±R DL at 6x. The DVR-XD09J connects to your laptop via USB port. No info on pricing so far.

16GB Buffalo Thumbkey Flash Drives


The super small 5mm Buffalo Thumbkey flash drive is now available in 16GB of storage space. It should be the perfect companion for a netbook, UMPC, or a standard laptop. The device will be released later this month for $136 each.

Lanhui Launches LH-650 Portable Media Player


The Chinese manufacturer Lanhui has announced a new PMP which is dubbed as the LH-650. The gadget comes jam packed with a 3.5-inch LCD, and a 2GB or a 4GB of storage space which is expandable via memory cards up to 8GB. The player supports MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, AAC and APE audio files and RM/RMVB (720×576), AVI (800×480) and FLV video files. If you are living in China, you can purchase the Lanhui LH-650 PMP for 399 Yuan ($58).
