NEC today introduced an LCD monitor that is specially designed for use in applications such as professional graphics, higher education, government, financial, command & control and home office. Priced at a hefty $8000, the NEC CRV-43 43-inch curved monitor comes with a double WGXA resolution (2880 x 900) with a 32:10 aspect ratio, a LED backlight, and DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 port. The NEC CRV43 curved display is backed by a 3-year parts and labor warranty including the backlight and will be available in July 2009.
